The first KZNCC Show of the season was a great success. Sponsored by Hill’s Pet Nutrition and Joekels Packaging, the Committee went all out to make sure our first show for 2017 was fun, organised and well attended.

Thank you to everyone who supported the show, especially the public who came along to visit us:

Our main sponsor Hill’s Pet Nutrition, their representative Aimee Hendricks who spent the day with us till closure of the show.

Our judges Esther Barlow-Kearsley, PC and Hanrie Bekker, June Stafford, Wilma Hyman, Nicole Barratt, Ngaio Crawley, Natasha Greaves, Sandra Lotra, thank you for keeping up your good spirits till the end of the show.

Etrecia Bester, Christo Bekker and Marlise Bornman, thank you for doing the awards so efficiently;
our stewards Sunet and Suniek Prinsloo as well as Lindie Kotzee, you did a sterling job.

Norma Hush thank you for staying on to help dissemble the show setup and taking the ‘helpers’ home and for taking the pictures. We can’t wait to publish them!

To the KZNCC Committee: YOU ROCK! A great team working towards one goal; every single one of you worked so hard to make a success of the show. Thank you.

Last but not least, congrats to all the winners, especially Spandau Single Lady Emily, a beautiful Sphynx Kitten, and her owner and breeder, Wilma Hyman, that won Cat of the Day at BOTH shows! Results can be downloaded from our Shows Page and can be found on the CFSA Results Page.

We had some interesting new fundraising initiatives at this show. Our public’s favourite is now executed via SMS Voting line in order to raise funds for Feeding the Furballs. The winner of our Public’s Favourite for this show was Mason, a seal pointed bicolour domestic shorthair owned by Farrah from Feeding the Furballs! Farrah and Mason also won the Cage Decoration competition with their amazing Alice In Wonderland-inspired presentation.

The winners of our Colouring In Competition who each won a R250 Toys R Us Voucher are:-

Jalandri – Age 10

Katie – Age 7

Their prizes will be sent out in the next 10 – 14 days.

See you at Top Cat in October!
